School Vision Statement Stakeholder Survey

Your chance to help Governors plan for the schools' future

Please find the link below for the school vision statement stakeholder survey. Governors are writing a new vision statement and would like your help in deciding what is most important to the community. This is open to parents, staff and governors.

When you log into the survey you will see nine statements. Use the arrows to rank them from most important at the top and least important at the bottom.

Some of the statements are linked to national expectations, whereas others are more down to earth.

There is a statement about the schools joining an academy trust. Governors have looked at various options in the last two years and decided that it was not the best for the schools at this point. There is no plan to investigate more options at the moment, but we would like to know if you feel it is a good or bad thing.

The term vulnerable children is mentioned in one of the statements and this refers to children with special needs, in receipt of free school meals or any other family circumstances that may impact the child's learning and wellbeing.

There is another statement that refers to critical thinking. This is about children being able to make their own decisions, such as knowing that information online is sometimes fake or misleading, it is about keeping them safe from scams.

Your opinions are really valuable. We want to know what you think is most important, not just what Ofsted and the government, so there is a space for you to suggest your own idea as well.
