Governors
Our Governing Body is made up of staff, parents and co-opted governors from the local community.
The governors are responsible for the strategic planning and school vision. The current school vision was created summer 2026:
In the next four years we will achieve the following to meet the aims of our mission statement:
- We will ensure the schools have a growing pupil intake to secure sustainability.
- That pupil attainment at the end of KS2 is in the top 20% of similar schools
- We will ensure our KS1 phonics results have continued to improve and that all children capable attain the expected standard.
- We will ensure that all children especially those from vulnerable groups master the foundational knowledge they need to flourish.
- We will halve the attainment gap between pupil premium children and non pupil premium children.
- All children will be actively involved in activities that help them live out our school mission and that we foster links between school, church and home. (MMK)
- All children will experience a wider range of enrichment activities including Forest School with the aim of meeting their social emotional needs and fostering resilience and a highly positive attitude towards school.
- The governors continue to explore whether the schools would be better supported through joining a MAT.
