Lincolnshire Headteachers have been sent the attached information about the changes to the new Ofsted framework gradings. We want you to understand that many previously 'good' schools are getting a 'requires attention' grade. This sounds very negative but Ofsted consider it equivalent to a previous average 'good'. Headteachers feel this is not a helpful judgement label and that it is likely to be misunderstood by parents without expert knowledge of the system.
