Allergies

I would like to remind families that both our schools are 'nut free' zones due to some children and staff having allergies. You should avoid pure nut products in lunch boxes to protect those with allergies. Many products contain small amounts of nuts, we know that it is impossible to avoid these.

Birthdays

We have a policy where you may buy a school cake from our kitchen for your child to share with the class. Contact the school office to book. We do not allow homemade or bought-in cakes and bags of sweets for birthdays as there are too many potential problems  managing this. If you wish to distribute treats to children once they have been handed to parents, then this is at your discretion. This allows parents to take responsibility for any potential allergy issues on an individual basis.
