I spoke too soon… we have a Walcott Class Two member of staff who has tested positive. We will try and email the families of those children who are the closest contacts by this evening. Children don’t need to stay off school but should have a PCR test. Due to the nature  of the classroom I would advise that all children have a lateral flow test if possible before tomorrow.
We will now continue in ‘bubbles’ for at least further week. We still haven’t had any 'in school' spread as all previous positive cases have been linked to home exposure.
The future of the live nativity performance is now very much reliant on no, in- school spread in the coming week.
